Volunteers for Peace Vietnam
Together make a better world
Volunteers For Peace Vietnam (VPV) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that was founded in 2005 to provide help and education to people in both urban and rural Vietnam. Our mission is to promote voluntary work and to attract international and local volunteers, with the ultimate goal of fostering cultural and educational exchange, friendship, and peace.
VPV has 3 focus areas: education, social work, and youth/community development. Within these areas, activities include: teaching foreign languages, childcare, caring for individuals with disabilities, working with local NGOs, health and environment education, construction/conservation, as well as organising events, training courses, and fundraising activities.
VPV offers dedicated programs in North and South Vietnam for both local and international volunteers, including individual, group, and work camp programs. The programs are either located in Hanoi and the surrounding areas or Ho Chi Minh City, with a program length that can range from two weeks to one year or longer.
